ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND RELEASE


1. I/We hereby acknowledge that I/we have been advised by Women’s Enterprise Centre (“WEC”) as follows:

a. WEC is not in the business of providing professional financial or legal advice but does provide information, support and encouragement for women in business.

b. WEC has strongly urged me/us to seek financial and legal advice from professional financial and legal advisors.

c. WEC does offer lending services which are distinct, separate and apart from the support and information counselling provided by WEC. No information or documents provided by WEC in its capacity of providing support and information counselling shall bind or obligate WEC in any way with respect to providing financing.

2. In consideration of the information, support and encouragement for women in business as provided by WEC to me/us, I/we hereby release WEC and agree to hold WEC harmless and indemnify WEC from any and all liability for any loss, damages or expenses which I/we may suffer or incur as a result of the provision by WEC of information, support and encouragement to me/us, including any breach of contract or negligence on the part of WEC

3. This Acknowledgment and Release shall be effective against and binding upon my/our heirs, executors, administrators, successors, assigns, officers, employees and agents.

4. This Acknowledgment and Release shall enure to the benefit of WEC, its successors, officers, employees and agents and any related entity or government agency.
