Women’s Enterprise Centre’s Mentoring Program is specifically designed for women who are in the first three years of operating a business. Each session has a pre-selected business topic on which the panel of mentors will share their experiences and answer your pre-submitted questions. Letting go – learning to delegate, Wednesday March 3, 9:00am – 10:00am (PST)

As an entrepreneur, you’re probably used to playing every role in the business: accountant, manager, salesperson, marketer, etc. Sooner or later the business will outgrow your capacity to handle it all and you’ll need to learn to delegate. Join this forum to get some tips and tricks on how to let go.

Potential discussion topics include: finding your most powerful role in the business, how to start working on your business and not in your business, and putting your trust in other people’s abilities..

It’s often said that 80% of an entrepreneur’s sales come from 20% of their customers. Knowing that statistic, it’s easy to recognize how finding more people like those 20% can increase your profits. Join this forum and learn to uncover who those 20% are and how to hone in on and win over other customers just like them.

Potential discussion topics include: understanding your target market, strategies to find your dream customers, focusing your business to meet your customer’s needs, learning to say no to customers who don’t benefit your business.
