Tammy has followed a career path that has allowed her to develop two distinct careers simultaneously. She founded and built a successful, integrated marketing agency over 18 years, and accumulated all the experience that is gained as CEO of a multi-mullion dollar company with multi-disciplinary teams and diverse clients.
As well as a management and entrepreneurial career, Tammy has also developed as a well-respected and accomplished marketing and communications professional. Tammy has worked at all levels of marketing initiatives, from crafting complex strategies, through to execution. A very unique perspective is developed from the experience of working intimately with over 500 organizations across diverse industries.
The company Tammy founded in 1994, Madhouse Creative and later rebranded as Touchpoint Agency, grew to be the largest agency in the Interior of British Columbia, with a portfolio of significant award-winning work and a respected reputation for creativity, innovation and results. The company was honoured for both the work that was done, as well as for the business excellence it exhibited and the growth that was enjoyed. The agency received significant awards from the advertising industry, as well as client specific industries, for effectiveness, quality and creativity of the work that was produced. The company also received accolades for Business and Service Excellence from community business organizations, and in 2008 was noted by Business in Vancouver as one of the top Largest Women Owned Companies in BC.
Tammy has always been dedicated to giving back with her professional abilities and talents. In each endeavor she fully commits and takes a leadership role. In 2000, Tammy was the youngest, female President of the Rotary Club of Kelowna – Ogopogo. She also sat as a member of the BC Cancer Foundation – Southern Interior Advisory Council, Board Executive for the Kelowna Art Gallery, and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Women’s Enterprise Centre.
Reflecting the diversity of Tammy’s interests, she has been a Mentor for Accelerate Okanagan -a high tech incubator; North American Judge for the Effie Awards; Member of Women President’s Organization; participant in a Canadian Trade Mission with WeConnect Canada; Campaign Manager for a political candidate; and a competitive sailor - competing twice at the Canadian Women’s Nationals Keelboat Championships.
Tammy shares her time between Kelowna, Vancouver and Toronto, and is mom to her 16 year old son, Alexander.
